MENTORPRO FEATURES: Check-In: Peer mentors monitor students' top challenges and offer answers, resources, and referrals. Referrals: Peer mentors are able to quickly provide students with the information they need to find answers and solve problems related to navigating the college experience. Secure messaging: MentorPRO enables easy individual and group messaging between students, peer mentors, and supervisors Data visualization: MentorPRO analyzes and presents extensive data to track status and progress over time.
Version History This update is mostly about notifications, plus a set of stability fixes. • Notifications: If you hadn't been receiving push notifications on your phone, this should fix it. The app was sometimes asking iOS for a notification token before the device was ready to give one, and then never asking again, so the app was left unable to reach you until you next signed in. It now waits for the device and retries. • Notifications: Turning notifications off in Settings no longer stops the app registering your device, so nothing is lost if you change your mind and switch them back on. • Files: Opening an attachment your device has no app for now shows a clear message instead of failing silently. Chat previews no longer leave stray files behind when they can't be opened. • Getting started: The home screen no longer fails to load for new members who don't yet have a mentor. Fixed Phone Number Login Issues
We've resolved a critical issue affecting users with Australian phone numbers during login. Some users experienced problems when their phone numbers contained leading zeros or multiple spaces, preventing them from accessing their accounts. This formatting issue that occurred before number submission has been completely fixed, ensuring all users can reliably sign in regardless of how their phone number was originally entered.
Session Management Improvements
We've addressed the frustrating logout issues many users reported. You should no longer experience unexpected logouts while actively using the app. The refresh token system has been completely overhauled to work properly, eliminating the excessive logout prompts that were disrupting your mentoring sessions. Your sessions will now stay active as long as you're using the app, and authentication refreshes happen seamlessly in the background without interrupting your experience.
iOS Compatibility Updates
This release includes critical compatibility fixes for iOS SDK 18.5 and Xcode build environments. We've resolved compilation issues and framework conflicts that were preventing successful app builds and deployments.
